The Meaning Behind “ZaiBei JAPAN！”
The word zaibei is a Japanese term that means “based in the United States.” It is often used in phrases such as zaibei Nihon kigyō, which refers to Japanese companies operating in the U.S. We chose the name “ZaiBei JAPAN！” to represent a community of Japanese-speaking professionals and people with ties to Japan who are building their careers, businesses, and lives in the United States.
Launched in 2024, Zaibei Japan has been steadily expanding its activities and presence. Our goal is to help Japanese-speaking professionals in the U.S. thrive, contribute to the American economy, and support stronger connections between Japan and the United States.
